Hey Beauties!
So I've been meaning to play with some Mary Kay goodies for some time now and I finally got around to it. Just wanted to stop in and share my latest face of the day.
By now you probably all know that I love purple. Its my absolute favorite color and I can honestly say I have MANY purple shadows in my makeup stash. BUT, oddly enough...most of my favorites are matte in color (I really dig a good matte shadow)....I have VERY few shimmer purple shadows and I certainly didn't have a favorite purple shimmer until now.
Introducing Mary Kay Mineral eyeshadow in Sweet Plum. Check it out!
It's a very pretty deep plum color with shimmer. Color payoff is great, application is very smooth.
I've also been loving this Mary Kay Nourishine Lip Gloss in Pink Diamonds....
Its been my go-to Pink gloss for a few months now. Its light, smooth and flattering on brown beauties. Also has subtle shimmer.
Alright so now that you've met the major players...check out the look I did

That's it! I'm a huge fan of this MK mineral shadow and Nourishine gloss. These are definitely up for "repurchase" and I'll be checking the other colors out as well. The prices are great too! The e/s will run you about $6.50 and the gloss is $13. My sister Ms. Danielle Love is my go-to Mary Kay consultant and she has been great with introducing me to certain products she knows I'll love. I definitely don't discriminate. I'm a fan of good products! ;-)
If you would like to purchase I highly suggest hitting her MK site HERE. She also has a blog Pink With Love. Check it out!
Let me know what you think!
As you can already see from the pics above, I went back to my jet black hair. Being a brownish/reddish babe was fun for a while but I just...feel best with black. LOL. Check some updated hair pics below....
Also, just a quick note of my blog domain change. www.milanrouge.blogspot.com is now www.milanrougebeauty.com ! Please note the change. You will automatically be redirected from the blogspot address to this new one but just in case you wanted to update your own links. ;)
Bye babes!

LOVE the look, I've been needing some more purple e/s, it's such a great color for brown girls! And the hair is absolutely gorgeous, chica!!

You making me want to get into make-up sis...it is really unfair. I mean really unfair!!!!
That purple is gorgeous and I love the new cut.
I loves this, yes I do, you always inspire me to go play in my makeup, I need to do better.
You know I am loooooving the purple lids. Go 'head MK. Who knew? And your hair? I just can't. Sooooo beautiful, sis!
Purple is one of my favorite colors, especially on my nails. I loooove the whole look. This is going to inspire me to get some more shadow practice in. I'm still on the level of a 5 year old that hasn't quite learned to color inside the lines yet. lol And you are really making me want to cut my hair again! Cu-ute!
